The NHS POD service is provided by NHS Coventry & Rugby Clinical Commissioning Group. All calls are answered by dedicated, experienced and fully trained call handlers.
All routine repeat prescription requests should now be made via the new NHS POD service (based at Coventry & Rugby CCG). This is a new and convenient way to order your repeat prescription by a dedicated call handler.
Telehphone (024) 7624 6072 Monday-Friday 8am - 5pm.
Orders placed each day will be authorised by the GP and sent to your usual pharmacy. Please allow the usual 48 hours for this process.
If you have a nominated pharmacy, this will be delivered electronically and you will not need to collect from the practice. Prescriptions not available on repeat may require you to see a GP.
Access is also available via Patient Access. To register, please ask at reception.
Those patients who are deemed vulnerable can carry on with the nominated pharmacy ordering on their behalf. If you do not wish to use the POD or Patient Access services, please hand your request to a member of the reception team.
Please click here to view the POD leaflet for more detail about the service.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
